I have a project with two parts a paper and a power point. I started both however I’ve been working and I haven’t had time to Finnish. I’ve attached what I have so far and the rubric.the links in the rubric are websites I found for that requirement. I need help organizing the paper, completing all the gaps and finalizing the projects. I’m mainly concerned with the paper portion. If time allows you can move on to the power point

TOURISM PROJECT:
I.
INTRODUCTION:
•
This project has two components including (1) written report and (2)
PowerPoint slides. In today’s world, professionals often have to prepare written reports on
industry trends and present their findings to the Board of Directors.
A successful report and PowerPoint will demonstrate your ability to research a topic and
support views with credible, reliable, and timely information. Due to the nature of online
courses, we will not have in-person presentations, but students are expected to develop
polished PowerPoint slides as if presenting their work.
This project will give you good experience in developing professional industry reports.
II. CRITERIA/DUE DATE:
•
Please limit the report to a maximum of 10 pages including text, tables, references, and
all creative materials. Think quality vs. quantity! The page limit will lead you to focus on
the quality of your report and not on the number of pages you write. Not all sections
require a full-page, some may only require a paragraph or two or a chart may suffice to
summarize the information presented. A couple of charts or tables may save you several
pages of writing. The report should focus on interpreting the information you gather, in
addition to your suggested strategies and rationale. Overall the report should
demonstrate your knowledge of the course content by answering the 5 W’s & 1 H (Who,
What, Where, When, Why and How).
•
You will also submit PowerPoint slides as if you are presenting to the Board of Directors.
You may have a maximum of 10 slides. Slides should be concise with limited text, using
bullet points, graphs, tables and photos to support your report.
•
All reports and PowerPoint slides should be submitted in one (1) pdf document and
uploaded to Webcourses by Monday, Nov. 30. To reduce the size of the document,
please present two slides on a page but make sure the slides are legible.
III. GRADING: 100 POINTS TOTAL FOR THE PAPER AND POWERPOINT SLIDES
The report must not be more than 10-pages total including text, tables, charts, references, and all
creative materials. Please follow APA format. The report should be typed, double spaced and cite
all references.
The paper is worth 75 points based on the following criteria/rubric:
• Professionalism / Organization
• Free of grammatical and spelling errors
• Easy to follow
• Written as if an assignment from your boss
• Thorough / Comprehensive
• Include background
• Current situation analysis
1
•
Insights / Creativity
• Recommendations for future action
The PowerPoint is worth 25 points based on the following criteria/rubric:
• Content:
• The relevance of presented content to the selected topic
• Ability to teach the audience something new, interesting, and of value
• The presentation must have substance (not only graphics)
•
Organization & Format:
• Polished and professional PowerPoint slides
• Clear first slide with names/number of this course, semester, name of the topic selected
• Clarity and visual appeal of slides
• Use of (necessary) charts, figures, graphics
• Absence of typos and grammatical errors
• Use of slide headings and bullets to organize sections of the presentation
•
Sources:
• Use of appropriate sources (timely, relevant, legitimate, credible), which must be
cited/included as “sources” on the last slide in APA format
• Sources MUST NOT be older than 3 years and should be limited to textbooks, books,
scientific journal articles, media/news reports, technical reports, and appropriate/credible
websites
