Petrol is a hazardous item and it is a highly flammable liquid that may readily catch fire and, if not
handled properly, can result in a catastrophic fire and/or explosion. This implies that there is
always a risk of fire and/or explosion if an ignition source, such as a naked flame, an electrical
spark, or something similar, is close. Due to these dangers, storing fuel securely is regulated; and
this regulation applies to everyone and if someone store petrol.

In this slides we will discuss the transportation process of the Hazardous material the Petrol. Petrol
is transported in various transporting method. Some of most popular methods I am going to
discuss.
Marine Vessels
Vessels are used to move petroleum from one location to another anywhere in the world. Because
these boats are capable of transporting a big volume of oil, the cost per barrel of oil is quite
inexpensive. Crude oil can only be transported across the oceans using these ships. Most of the
time, the bigger tankers are utilized to transfer this petroleum across continents.
Pipelines
Pipe lines are used to transport both kind of petroleum material the crude oil and refined oil. In
terms of moving oil, pipelines are seen as the most cost-effective method of transporting it from
wells to refineries and storage facilities. With an incidence rate of just 0.58 occurrences per billionton miles, pipelines are the safest route of transportation for oil. Through a pipe, it travels from the
wellhead to its final destination, which is typically a refinery.
Rail cars
Trains allows Companies to transport enormous quantities of this oil. Each rail car stores a smaller
amount of oil than a huge maritime tanker vessel but when several are employed, a considerable
amount is possible to carry
Trucks
Refined fuel is frequently transported to a fuel station by tank trucks, which are utilized in the
same way as rail trains. Short-distance oil transport often necessitates the use of a truck.
