Bill of Rights Amendment
An ammendment to the Bill of Rights that I think is still important to this day is the ammendment thats says we have the
freedom of assembly which I think in the last two years has been shown to be very important to our way of life.
Without it we wouldn’t have been free or even thought to have marched for BLM or to assemble in reaction to George
Floyd’s death and Breonna Taylor’s death. Freedom of assembly is just one way we are able to show our displeasure of
a certain event or action to the government. It also brings attention to the issue and helps in bringing about change.

The Second Amendment
A amendment that is on the Bill of Rights that is important and still important to this day is the Second Amendment. The
Second amendement states that," well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the
people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. Off od the research I did it seems to me this Bill was first intended
for people who were part of the militia but over time people were giving the right to bear arms for self defense in the
home. Being that gun control is a strong subject, especially these days with shootings in random places going on, I
believe this admendment is still very important. Some feel as if the government will have too much control and dcould
nuse their military against us at any time and we wont be able to fight back if they take away this right. Some feel as if
the world will be a safer place if there was stricter gun rules and limits. It is a very heated debate. All states and counties
have different gun laws as well. In soem states you can have only a certain type while in others you can have crazy types
of guns. Some you need a license to conceal or carry. The gun laws are differnt from state to state.
