PHIL 11 - Critical Thinking - 71221
E) How did the use of fallacies affect the arguments
made by Juror #3 (the man who runs the messenger
service)?
Each question is worth 10 points, so be complete,
but don't over do it, just answer the question as
asked.
Remember, one or two fallacies does not affect an
argument. A whole slew of fallacies is certainly a
bad argument, because there were no rational
premises, but only irrational fallacies acting as
premises, used to try and infer a conclusion about
something.
Have fun with it. Relax and watch and use your
notes/text to follow along. Allow yourself up to 2
hours for this, it's a little long. Answer the questions
provided. Think about what you hear in the
examples. Go for the obvious examples, like stereo
types and appeal to force.
Sorry for all the videos, but I'm a visual kind of
learner/teacher. Hope you aren't feeling swamped
by them all.
