Comparative Politics (POLS 1400)
Topic:
While some scholars argue that economic development is best attained by
postponing democracy, others claim that development is best attained by first
establishing a democratic government. In this paper, you are to answer the
question:
What is the best way to achieve economic development in the Global South?
You may argue either point of view, nondemocrats or democrats, But you
will need to demonstrate a complete understanding of both sides of the debate and
you must provide evidence to support your claims.
Format:
