The final paper provides an opportunity to reflect on the entire internship experience. The final reflection paper should summarize your learning, assess overall success in achieving your Learning Objectives, and highlight any additional insights about the organization, industry, or career field. GUIDELINES FOR THE FINAL REFLECTION PAPER:
The following guidelines will be strictly enforced. Late papers will not be accepted.
The Final Reflection Paper should be a minimum of seven (7) pages (not including
title or reference pages) but no more than ten (10) pages, typed and doublespaced, with Times New Roman text, 1” margins, and 12 point font. Please make
sure you submit a Word document as the file for your paper. The final paper must
address the topics below, and use “headings” to divide each reflection topic within
your paper.
The intern will document the activities and projects experienced during the internship.
The format of the paper is somewhat flexible and will depend on the type of activities,
projects, and experiences that the student was exposed to during the semester. But in
general, it should include the following:
Title page. (Should include title of paper, student name, university name and course
name, professors name, date)
Executive summary. A 1/2 to 1 page brief of the paper. (i.e. Company’s Strengths &
Weaknesses; Learning Objectives; Challenges & Resolutions; etc):
Experience section. This section will address the four major components of the
internship:

The Management and Structure of the organization and the student’s
exposure to it;
The Technical Aspects of the area(s) where the student spent time (what
areas did you work in at the organization and what systems did you use to
complete your work?)
The Projects that were undertaken by the student, including the outcomes
and results of the efforts;
The organizational culture of the organization and the student’s reaction to
the organization and to the experience of working regularly in that culture.
Remember to use headings for each section of your paper
Issues section. In this section the student should identify an issue that was
experienced and how the issue was overcome.
Conclusions the student’s reflection on the experience and future plans in the industry
after graduation.
References. Sources from the student’s academic work should be cited (you should at
least reference the company website). The sources cited in the paper should be
listed alphabetically at the end of the paper. Use the in-text citation method and follow
the reference style guidelines from the Publication Manual of the American
Psychological Association.
Appendices: Not required but feel free to include supporting material such as computer
printouts, data, models, charts etc. or reprinted articles or web site information regarding
your internship organization that are the most informative and relevant and which you
think the class should have to be best informed on your internship.

I Interned at A Movement Of Change Counseling. (Social Work Company)
MY JOBS ARE: One of my jobs working at this organization is Medical Records. Medical Records is
accountable for overseeing patient documents (Patient Health Information) in the office. In Medical
records department I will be documenting records, aiding reviews, and gathering data. Another job I am
exposed to is Administration. Administrators are decision makers, responsible for the prosperity of the
company. Working on this level may exclude as much eye-to-eye collaboration with customers yet it is
just as basic as offering direct types of assistance. This mental health organization requires information
about friendly strategy and the conveyance of social administrations. I have a comprehension outlook
upon the profession of mental health and a pledge to social hard-working attitudes and values, and a
dream for what is to come. The next job is Schedulers. Schedulers are regulatory positions that plan and
orchestrate arrangements for an assortment of purposes: gatherings, arrangements or even the
creation of produced merchandise. As a scheduler, my job will plan arrangements, project courses of
events, gatherings or whatever else needed by the organization or association that utilizes you. The last
but not less position in the organization is marketing. Marketing Showcasing is the activity, set by the
organization. Marketing showcasing create cycles for making, conveying, delivering, and trading
contributions that have an incentive for clients, customers, accomplices, and society on the loose.
