The number of families who have turned to social media sites like YouTube to vlog about their day-to-day lives has risen exponentially. (Suha 2020). This is due to the appealing incentives of online vlogging we see in popular influencer lives, like their lavish lifestyles and fame. For this week’s writing assignment, I will be determining the ethics behind family YouTube vloggers, and the best approach to pursuing brand partnerships with them. YouTube deleted their channel, which had accumulated about 750,000 subscribers, when the charges were filed against the couple.
