Grade 12 Entrepreneurship Final Project
BUSINESS PLAN
Due date April 22rd, 2021
For your final project in Entrepreneurship, you will work with your groups (2-4 per
group), prepare a comprehensive Business Plan for your chosen business.
Use the planning guide & rubric to assist you.
(You will present your business plan to a panel and they will decide if your
business will get the funding that it needs).
Note: You must choose your own business that does not exist now. There may
be many similar businesses that exist. You can decide on your business in
whatever industry you like (food, clothing, gaming, vehicles, electronics, oil,
tourism, agriculture, environmental, t.v, etc.) but you cannot pick a business
that already exists (Google, Apple, Coca-Cola, Emirates, Adnoc or the 1000’s
of other businesses).
How do we decide what industry/business to choose? Pick something that:
(a) You have an interest in.
(b)You know something about.

etc…)

11. Description of Management and Organization:
a. Ownership – Sole Trader (1 owner), Partnership (2 owners), Private Company or
Public Company.
b. Skills & qualification for each one in the group.

a. Financial Projections (predictions) and request for funding.
b. Projected start-up costs (Projected fixed & variable expenses).
c. Projected balance sheet for one year.
d. Projected income statement for 3 months.
e. Projected cash flow for 3 months.
f. Projected pay-back.
13. Assumptions and conclusion:
a. A short summary explaining is the project feasible (can it be done) and will it
adjust to any change?
REQUIREMENTS:
1. In groups, prepare a presentation covering the above to convince the audience of your
Business idea. This will be followed by questions from other students and the teacher.
2. The Business Plan must be typed on A4, font 12.
3. Apply your knowledge in Entrepreneurship and show evidence of research.
4. Ensure proper PowerPoint design, clear font and applicable pictures.
5. You may use other illustrative aids in addition i.e. video clips, handouts, statistics, etc.
6. Include index on the slide/Business Plan to show the sequence of presented material.
7. Encourage participation and interact with the audience (ask them questions!) (If we are
doing the presentation part, depending on time).
8. Use Business terms and explain them fully.
9. Include clear introduction, objectives and conclusion.
10. Include your reference list (minimum 5 references).
11. Number your slides for easy reference.

13. Be ready on time to avoid late penalty! Remember the due date is the last day for
Grade 12 on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
